Yeah, repair man isnt worth it.

I would check the drain though. It has caused mine to stop. It stumped me for a while too; the water could still drain enough that the sink was't full when I would go to get the laundry, but it would drain slow enough to make the washer stop. There was still water in the washer, so I imagine if it happened to you durring draining the wash water then it fills again to rinse you get the mess on the floor.

OK...I almost made a $700.00 mistake. I almost bought a new washer/dryer set because my wife says we can't just buy the wash machine because its not going to match.

Well. My brother-in-law called me tonight and said to check the pressure switch hose. What the heck, I might as welI.....I had no idea where it was, I started removing the back panel, but decided that wouldn't do it. I found two screws tht held the control panel down and removed them and the panel lifted up and exposed the pressure swith (just like the picture on the internet.).with a DISCONNECTED hose. The washer never thought it was full.....once I connected the hose to the pressure switch, it worked.....It didn't cost me ANYTHING.

oops, forgot about that totally. I have never had one come loose. And my machine is about 10 years old. Possible that it got moved roughly once or ran a seriously unbalanced load?
