Thats the thing....I DID go to someone else. Since one dealer noted in the computer system that they would not warranty the rims, any other dealer will just turn me away.

I might very well call corporate if i cannot polish the faded areas out and raise some kane, and I will flat out state that their lack of customer satisfaction is a big factor in why GMs can't hold their resale value...esp. the Malibu.

I think you should make the call and take it as far as possible first...if you try to buff or polish the rims, you'll get accused of messing them up yourself.
