warranty commercial
Wow, I need to work at the places on those extended warranty commercials. $875 for a alt. $750 for a starter, over $3700 for a trans. Wow, where are they going to get prices like that?

The $3,700 for a tranny isn't too far off. When I had my Avy the tranny went out on it, and they didn't even replace, they just repaired it. When I got the truck back I looked at the invoice to see how much I didn't pay. It was $2,500 just for a repair, not the whole damn thing. Good thing that truck had a 100k mile powertrain warranty.

For $3700 I could buy the tools I need and build my own race transmission and install it in my car, and still have money left over for a few cases of guinness.
