You still need to get the wireless cards for whatever pc'* you want to connect to it, otherwise yes, it'll work.

how bout a good cheap wire one? and one w/ only 1 port because i have a netgear 4 port hub...so i can just put the router into a hub port and then wires from the hub to the computers and share teh high speed on all 4 right?

I have a D-link 4-port broadband router that I got at OfficeMax for $20. It'* sufficient for home use...

You won't need the hub at all. A switch or a router will replace it, but a router is preferred.

Some cheap routers dont have the switch built in and only have 1 port. You will need another hub or switch for multiple computers...

Hub = Pooled bandwith (IE 100Mbit total for all ports)
Switch = Dedicatied Bandwith to each port (IE 100mbit to each port)
