Wonderful phone. NEC makes a great product. LEAPS and BOUNDS over my crappy motorola. <---- One more company to lose my business (along with audiovox).

I have Verizon. I was on my parents' plan in college. Graduated, got married, wanted off my parents' plan to share a plan with my wife. Went in, asked to change. They said, ok, lets get verbal permission over the phone from one of your parents. Neither was answering their phone, so they said my parents could call in later to confirm, and it would be done. They called in later and were told that they needed to fill out some paperwork Verizon would send them. Okay..... three weeks later, papers arrive, get signed, I take them in. Verizon says, "Oh these papers would have to be sent to corporate, it'll take a few weeks for it all to process." So I tore them up. Brought my parents and my wife in at the same time upon advice that they would need to sign some stuff instore to get it done. I picked out a new phone, since mine was FIVE YEARS OLD!!!! Ends up, all my parents needed to do was sign the bill (which was nothing after instant rebates and my debit card). If I would have got a new phone later, they would have had no point in being there!!!! You just gotta find the one person in the store that knows what the heck they are doing and they will do it.

hmmm seams like everyone has verizon.... i switched from alltell to verizon when i came to college only cause alltell was always roaming and sprint sucks. but i got the lg 5200 phone. it nice for one 15 bucks. and it takes pictures too!!!! better then the alltell on i has that was more then that..but them my mom and sister wanted phones too. and ding ding ding i hear lil bells in my head go off. so i got them both phones so my months bill droped from 50 to 35 cause i added them. (my part anyway)
but either way we get 1400 minutes 3 lines and i have 1000 txt messages and its 99.99
a month.... cant complain about that cause with alltell it was 85 a month for 2 lines with only 800 minutes and no txt


i dont talk on the phone alot i just im just a texting champ
