I've always said I would love to get one of those if I could afford it. I guess I'll have to deal with my cheap Whistler for now.

I have never owned a fuzz-buster and I prob never will.
I drive like a maniac and have no points on my license and no tickets for over four years!!

Yes but an ounce of prevention is well worth not paying a penalty later. My detector has saved me from many a ticket!! I don't leave home without it.

I totally agree with that one. I had 3 previous tickets in the past all without having a radar detector in the car. Since putting the detector in the car i've had none. I believe that having a detector in the car doesn't allow me to speed more but really just allows me to be more observant of my surrouding and keeps my foot from being too heavy.

EXACTLY, glad-man.

The Valentine is a good unit, but really not suitable unless you drive for a living. The cost is too high.

You can get 2 good quality radar detectors for less money. Look at the Bel Vector Series. That'* what I have in front, and a Whistler in back. Good combination.
