Default Vince Need your help...

Yesterday we had a surprise birthday party for my mom... It was great I bought a enough beer for the neighborhood and I was the only one who drank

Anyways I took about 200 pictures of my niece (in preparation)

Well now my sister would like them on a disk and edited lol since after browsing through my computer she has seen some pic'* that I have done (It'* a hobby)

Also there were a few other people there with Babies and who are expecting they now want Me to take there pictures

My sister just called and told me that she would like me to take my nieces 1st birthday pictures. rather then her regular photographer :? ok

I don't know should I and what should I charge (not my sister) but the other people... not that I want to but she asked me that to me it'* not something i even thought of.

Here are a few pics of the baby I took yesterday.

Nice!!! Close ups are always the best shots to me. Yesturday at the wedding I was shooting I left my 18-70mm lens at the church and only had my 80-200mm for the reception OMG that sucked but anyways I had to adapt. It brought me back to the days I use to do ONLY Close-ups and I learned alot last night. I remembered that the close-ups are the emotion getters usually this shot right here would be a wide of the groom throwing the garter and the men catching it but look at it now its a awesome picture that I took at like 100mm 2.8f and i think 40 shutter (notice the motion) with a flash to still them. It show a true natural picture. Granted this isnt a extreme close up (more of a medium shot) but its diffently alot closer than the wide I usually do.

On the money side you need to start doing stuff for free. Family is the best because they can be the most.... forgivable(lol) my first wedding (photography) I shot was $300(that was like 2 and half years ago) but now my median amount someone pays is around $2300 per wedding. Start off just having a passion for it. Walk around and if you see something good that would be a great picture take a mental picture and snap your fingers(like a shutter release). You will learn alot that way.

The pictures look great though!!!!

You got the eye for it normally people would take the shot of the whole baby. You got a close -up gets the detail and emotion. =D

Natural is what its all about. Keep that in mind, candids work great IMO. These were taken with an old Sony 2.1mp camera. Love the damn thing tho.

My buddies ex-gfs niece.

Those are great too the color and the depth in the second one. I will be posting a beginners guide to professional photography in the next couple of days. It will include stuff like f/Stops shutters, ISO, ect. I am hoping to do a lesson every week and have example pictures to show.
