Monkey on a stick! You ever get out in town early enough in the day for the butchering? Freaky ****. Monkeys are almost too human sometimes. They scream like little kids. :(

I didn't say I did any butchering. That'* just the way things are some places. They butcher everything out in the streets. Chickens, pigs, monkeys, ducks, giant beetles, aardvarks, anteaters, ostriches, kangaroos, and hippos. Did I miss any, MOS?

Yea...I remember that scene from one of the first "Faces of Death" movies where two couples sit down to eat at this special table where a monkey in a cage is inserted in the middle. Only the monkey'* head is visible above the table top. The waiter gives one of the men a small hammer and tells him to hit the monkey. He takes a half-hearted whack and the monkey starts screaming. Pretty soon the guy is pounding the crap out of the poor thing and it is screaming like crazy. He finally kills it. After it is dead, the waiter returns with a big cleaver and splits the monkey'* head open. He then proceeds to start dishing the brains out onto little appetizer plates.

I guess I really didn't need to tell you all about that.

I liked most KimChi (I was in Korea from 87-8. I never ate any unidentifiable meat, that I know of, but some of the snacks a buddy'* Korean wife had me try seemed kinda inect-ish, and rather good actually. Don't ask me for sure, because I didn't even want to know at the time...

Ok the monkey thing...just whacked, just whacked. I'm a carnivor and all but I would become a vegan ASAP if I had to kill my own meat or watch it be killed. I'm just to mcuh of an animal lover.
