Default Best way to get out of a ticket after being pulled over

I was just curious what the best way to get out of a ticket after being pulled over? I usually play dumb and it works about half the time I was just looking for more of a sure thing.

Probably the best way to avoid a ticket, is not do anything that get'* you noticed and pulled over.

There'* lots of information and tips if you Google "how to avoid a ticket". But understand, what may work for one person with one officer; probably wont work with another officer or another person.

Don't know about getting out of a ticket, but i have found that being honest and not trying to b.*. them well get you at least better treatment. I have still gotten tickets doing this, but they are usually for much less than they could have (and should have) been.

Bump; This is good advice. Most police officers I know have a pretty good B.*. detection system and figure if you can't be honest with them, they don't feel compelled to give you a break.

I just avoid doing anything that would get me pulled over in the first place.

Honest and courtesy has gotten me out of a couple. "Ya, I just got her tuned up and was trying to blow the carbon out and wouldnt ya know it, there you were" seems to have worked the best for me. (I have 12 pages on my DMV abstract) But Police are like everyone else. Each is a case study of one. Sometimes nothing is going to make it easier. Especially when your side by side blowing by one at 107 in a 35. Best to use your right to remain silent. Do not try to explain, do not give info that can be bent against you. It'* his time to write tickets, and your time to let a lawyer figure it out.

Wouldn't you know it, I thought I was going to have to talk my way out of a ticket today driving home. Was driving thew Milwaukee on the interstate when I round a corner. There right in front of me is a parked state trooper. The cp standing outside his car, pointing something right at me. My radar detector goes off. He turns and jumps in his car as I pass him. I think &*$%@@#. I look in my mirror and I see the smoke as he peals away. I look at the HUD, and I'm going 4 mph over the limit. I look back again and he'* right on the bumper of another car behind me. That car must have been flying up behind me. Wow, got the blood pumping there.

About very two years..I get a new Radar Detector to keep up with the new technology. So far my Passport 8500 X50 has saved me at least two tickets while driving the Bonnie.
