Because @ 9:30 AM on this past, cloud free saturday...
A deer decided it was time to play bumper cars...
The light got shoved under the bumper, somehow didn't crack the lens AFAIK...
The only real problem with a clamshell hood? When it get'* hit, it takes out a lot of other panels too...
Opposite side of car from the hit
And why I had no chance, or ever saw it while it was on the earth.. 45° ish slope from the road, tall grass, low car with high front fenders... First thing I saw a blur flying out of the corner of my eye, was between 50-55 on the 55 limit...
Best parts? I was on a quick pleasure cruise before dropping it off at the body shop for when my dad hit my Bonneville with it, and my parents (their car) are in Norway till saturday... Finally got ahold of them today. Maybe this'll push him to trade it in for the GXP, or something else with more power....
EDIT:
The bastard was dead on contact! Wasn't even twitching when I walked back to it.

Yeah, it didn't take out the rad or anything, but the pictures certainly smooth out some of the problems...
But they're going to start working on it now.
RKsport body kit? Nah... I'm hoping they'll trade it in.. The GXP body kit would definitely be better

i know deer can be a pain when things like this happen, but were moving into their habit and building roads through their forest. Sorry the car got a lot of damage, but the important thing in any crash is your ok.
