oy! I could never carry a gun on me or in my purse, they kinda freak me out. I'm a bigger fan of the pepper spray ...

Welcome. Nah, it'* mostly I'd be scared of the gun going off when I didn't want it, and I know I'd never be able to pull the trigger. Pepper spray might hurt but it won't kill, so that I can do.

Just a word of advice I got straight from a bunch of cops...pepper spray does nothing to a really determined attacker...you'd be better off with one of these... http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/.../362/sesent/00

Hmmmm...those look interesting. I don't know if I agree with the point about pepper spray, but mostly being alert and not getting into any situations is really the only for sure prevention after that who knows what is really gonna help.

You hit the nail on the head there. Being alert and observant is the #1 self defense tool...after that is just for when you've failed really.

As for the lights, they are pretty sweet. They are so bright they temporarily blind an assailant if his eyes were adjusted to darkness before being shined, and they leave no permanent effect. I love mine, and have tested it well...trust me, it works. And it also serves the purpose of being situationally aware at night because you can shine it down alleys and into dark parking lots so you can see what'* there too. It is the perfect "weapon" for when you can't have a weapon, like when you're at school or work.

Silly. :P

Well, at any rate, that'* why I try to carry it holstered on my side as much as possible...avoid any scary moments for my friends. That, and I love my holster. (I've gotten some wierd looks during hugs though ).
LOL!!! "Is that a gun in your pocket or, umm....please tell me that'* a gun in your pocket!!"
