Turbo Maxima'* for some reason don't seem to pull as fast ET'* as */C ones even though they make more peakpower and trap slightly higher. Go figure...I have the video of him running those times *edit* Actually in reviewing the video again, he ran 12.7@119mph, not 12.5@119mph, PM me and I can email it to you if you want to view.
I understand trap speeds indicate horsepower better, but they are also affected by launching like ET'*, just not as much. Usually with a worse launch, you will get a higher trap speed (don't ask me why, I'm not exactly sure). So if he got a 2.4 60' like you said, his trap speed is gonna be like 3+mph faster than if he would've got a decent launch (1.8 or 1.9). Zooomer traps at ~122 mph, which is still 3mph faster than this maxima trapped with his CRAPPY 60'. And may I still add, Zooomer is trapping higher, with a LOT less horsepower, 50 wheel horsepower is a LOT of power. Maybe this guy needs to invest in some slicks for his car, and then learn how to drive it. Yes, his trap speeds show that he is making power, but if someone else came along, making much less horsepower, they could still easily beat him because the guy can't drive the car. What good does the power do you if you can't use it.

And he would have to have some really narrow, crappy tires to not be able to pull of better than a 2.4 60' if he is a decent driver. I was pulling 2.1 & 2.2 60' times the first time I ever drove a car at the track, and it had street tires with the normal tire pressure in all the tires and everything. If this guy can't launch better than a 16 year old in a $1500 beater, maybe he needs to invest in some driving lessons or something.

+1 yes, this post was actually to show what this untuned Turbo max could do against a 350Z

He doesn't need to learn how to drive that car anymore, last I heard, he blew is intake manifold and the car is sold on ebay. Zoomers car is quit amazing trapping at 122mph

Stock tires on a 95 Maxima is 205/65R15'*
