Hmmmm, I realize your talking North of the Border BUT.... Our economies mirror each others. Gas prices have fallen slightly and not enuff, the ripple hasnt been felt yet and it'* going to be a big one. Another terrorist event is imminent and investors real squirmish. Bush has been slapped by the Supreme Court and his compentcy rating plummeting. Insurance Companies are wavering over Last Years events and now things are going bad again as we head into the hurricane-flood-tornado season. I see a small if not bigger recession coming. And The US Fed primed to jack interest rates further. I quess it really depends where your money lies rather than the market as a whole. Personally I have moved a little more into silver. ( With its ever increasing industrial/electronic demand plus renewed interest as a staple) And sticking with Large Defense contractors with solid contracts. (Lockheed is a prime example), Munitions suppliers, and old standbys. (IBM will never die) Taking a good look at LG Electronics right now. OK all the mature reasoning I can take in one day, time for a beer. It'* Friday and almost Noon! YA!

Thanks for the info GXP Venom, here in Canada the price of gas is at it'* highest ever, selling at $500.50 per Canadian gallon. Out gallon is 4.55 litres and yours is 3.78.
The TSX is at 11,633.34 as of noon today. I can only hope, since Nortel has taken a major dive in the last quarter. I guess I just may have to keep driving the 90 Bonne and hope it will make it to 500,000 km'*.

Your welcome and hopefully things wont materialize as bad as I forsee but its going to be a rough ride to the end of the year and beyond. Gas uo that way is crazy. And public opinion here atificially driving down true gas value. I really hate hedging money into companies that profit from destruction but I'm as scared as most investors and have the responsibility of not just keeping my estate on top, but some older family members as well. Its a tuff moral decision. What really scares me is I feel a terror event is inevitable and going to make matters much worse and with Allied Forces spread so thin and so many things negatively pounding on the economy, WTF is Bush thinking and why is he so determined to further complicate things with Iran and Korea. I realize they could bring about some real problems but feel its time for a cool down and mop up some other messes. The media keeps focusing on Iraq and we are still stuck in Bosnia as well as many other plces. Messes created 20 years ago........

When I worked once in the States for a very breif period, I noticed that Americans can easily joke and laugh at there President, but when I made one small joke,( them knowing I was Canadian) they we're offended. Go figure. Lesson learned. Hey we're neighbours.

It just started pouring here

Ya we are a funny bunch and I quess it'* like the family that fueds hard with each oher but let and outsider pipe in and they all gang up on em. Hope the rain doesnt get as bad as down here 3 days ago. Even Hillary is in town today to view the carnage. i dont mean to Bash Bush as much as I do. Most of his policies have been pretty good for the economy but his steadfastness in global peacekeeping has me very concerned.

And shudder to think of Hillary in the Oval Office. Bill as a "First Husband" is some funny ****. I mention it to friends and they say now way. But American politics has a twisted way of making just that a strong possibility.

Best of luck and hope you get to have that new car.... course you have alot on your automotive table already. I want to see that SSEI come to life. Thanx for the chance to vent and keep your fingers crossed. Do Canadians have a good luck charm like the rabbits foot LOL!

The 90 SSE is on it'* last legs, rather than repair I just disconnect what does't work now. I got to love the 3.8 though it'* still running great. When I finally figure out the codes I can repair and get the 90 SSEi on the road and put the 90 to rest. The 90 has got to be the best and most reliable car I have ever owned.
