So i got my car back today, they could not re create the problem, so it looks like if it happens again, i will be the one driving it.
He said they hooked up a scan tool to it, did a flow control test on it, and everything seemed normal, and that if they were going to drop the pan to look at the fluid it would cost me.
**** that.
