first off the 6.0 here is is not blown
secondly the vauxhall is blown from the factory
thirdly you realize how easy it would be to order the stock blower of it and bolt it right to the G8
fourthly the big reason gm is copying holden is the massive aftermarket that is already setup

I loved his remarks about the simplicity of it:

You press the middle pedal to slow down, and you press the pedal on the right to make more noise.

I should make a sig quote out of that.

Yeah, I'm glad he compared it to the Germans. The G8 really is without a doubt one of the best cars GM has ever put into production.

Euh, I'm not convinced yet. I think the new CTS is sitting on the top of that chart. Taking a Vauxhall/Holden and giving the North American market what it wants doesn't classify it as the "Best Thing GM has ever done"

Its good, but its not great. Pontiac has to steer clear of the Germans, let Cadillac take on that fight.

I honestly don't believe Cadillac is able to take that on, even with recent success. It'* going to take a company wide push to show they're serious.

Gotta start somewhere, and the CTS is that somewhere.

It'* a decent start, but I don't think it can hold a candle to some German cars (more expensive ones, obviously). Cadillac doesn't have the range of BMW or Mercedes. GM as a whole, with various car companies, can make models to match each of the various German models. I don't think I see Cadillac making a line anything like the BMW or Mercedes line in the future. The CTS is awesome, but they don't make anything smaller or similar to German cars other than that.

Just my humble opinion. Not trying to argue, you're probably more educated than I about this.
