Tradition,Heritage, and the Law
Bonneville. A name that carries its tradition and heritage from the 60'* to the Salt Lakes of Utah and even on Mars. The car represents a product of American construction and dependibility.
The Grandprix might be a "cooler" car when it comes off the showroom floor, but it supposed to. It is a sports car! On the other hand a Bonneville is a typical ride for someone that is successful in life and has a lot of class. A hard working businessman if you will. Its not the fastest car out there, nor is it the slickest car out there but one thing is for sure; if you own or just like the car, then you have your head scewed on strait!
Our cars dont carry many aftermarket parts, nor do they have much cool accessories you can buy, but that does not stop any of us with busting our buts and fabricating or modfying pieces and parts for our cars. Some people unfortunetly can turn these sweet rides into wannabe ricers and all talk, but the majority of us keep it real and are not posers and fakes. As a member for around two months here I have learned lots of information that is critical to the process of upgrading my car. I have even noticed in my small town of Junction City Kansas (i live on Ft.Riley though) Bonnevilles are slowly appearing more and more each month with anything from tint windows to stereo systems. This is a big accomplishment since this town is infested with ricers, grand prixs, impalas and capri'*.
All in all what I really am saying is that I know my car would never let me down in an emergency. And contrary to what people believe, I give full props to the admins and moderators of this site! From what I have read from haters and idiots (not on BC) it seems like a lot of people are scared of a little Pontiac competition, but it is really stupid. There is a law on this site, and our sheriffs lay it down pretty good!
