Default Those 80'* toys that you should have kept

I once seen an entire G1 edition for about $5000 years ago.

$7,000 Optimus Prime.

1984 Hasbro Transformers Optimus Prime Pepsi G1 SEALED MISB AFA 80 RARE Rubsign | eBay

And another one of my favorite combos. Roughly $4-$5 per piece when they first came out, now, $5000 for the complete set.

1985 G1 Transformers All 6 Constructicons Devastator AFA 85 80 80 80 80 60 | eBay

I remember spending like $18 for for the different version of Optimus Prime. It was the car carrier, it carried my McDonalds Stompers perfectly.

I miss the 80'*.

I had a lot of those Gen 1 Transformers, the original Optimus, Megatron, Soundwave, Jetfire, a lot of the mini'*, almost all of the Dinobots, and Constructicons, collecting those, and GI Joe'* were my thing back then.
I am still a big kid at heart, and if I had the money, and the room, then I'd have a lot of those old toys for the nerdstalgia!

If I kept all of my old toys in the box I'd be rich right about now!

I use to run home everyday after school during 3rd and 4th grade to watch Transformers. That was back in 1985. Today'* cartoons have nothing on 80'* cartoons.

Will, what kid in their right mind keeps a toy in the box?

Agreed 80'* cartoons were the best, Gi Joe, Transformers, MASK, Centurions, The Real Ghostbusters, Inspector Gadget, DuckTales, Thundercats, He Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, were some of my favorites.

I know every time I got a new toy it never stayed in the box for long, even if I knew what they'd end up being worth I still would have played with them, money did not matter so much back then, at least for us as kids.

Your list matches mine!

Don't forget 3-2-1 Contact. Just the theme song gives me the shivers.

i had all the constructicons too and a bunch ofothers, but no kid is going to keep that in the box. the only thing i ended up keeping is some of the hot wheels and legos. legos were my favorite toys.

they play the old transformers once in a while on the hub, seems to have lost some thing now especially when you compare it to the tv show they have now
