Can you guess what interior option I had on my 1973 El Camino?

I had a 1973 El Camino in 1981. Bought it for $250 and worked on it non-stop (body). It was an awesome vehicle. It had an interior option that I have never seen again in any car or truck. It may have been common, but I never saw it again.

Can anyone guess what this option was?

Koma,

I can't believe you got it, especially not being born when the car was made. Great job! How did you know?

It was swivel bucket seats. You just opened the door and twisted your but while lifting your legs and out you went. It was an awesome options. you could park the car with the seats facing the door.

Dan,

They were great, the picture doesn't do em justice.

I also liked Raptor'* guess. Some of the higher end vehicles had CBs but I forgot about it, I remember some Lincolns have the factory CBs. those were the days......

I parked my later purchased 1982 El Camino in my Great Grandad'* barn in 1992. I did not prep it at all and it got covered in 4 inches of dust and became a home for mice. My guess is that it is toast, which is good because like you- i have more than enough projects, and unlike you- my wife is very unhappy about the time I spend working on vehicles.....

Heh, I bet Dan would say differently about how much his wife enjoys him working on his car :P.

I have a feeling those seats probably got removed due to safety concerns or something of the likes. To bad, because that is one hell of a feature.
