Apparently people are still falling for these obvious scams. We hear about it regularly down here. I received an email scam a couple years ago while job searching. Got a reply through Careerbuilder that offered a job "facilitating" money transfers. "Make hundreds of thousands from your computer at home. We just need access to your bank account to help us make these transfers."

Uh yeah.....

I spent my precious time filing a report w/the attorneys general'* office and never heard anything back, of course. They musty get reports of this stuff all the time. Remember that it only takes one score to make this scam pay. P.T. Barnum, baby, P.T. Barnum...

Doesn't that just tell spammers that your e-mail address is valid?

Sure it prolly does, but that'* what junk and spam filters are for. I block it after I do my deed, and then I never know I got anything from them again, unless I decide to paruse my Spam box, in which I haven't ever done.
