Default Firefox Released!

I forgot that the 9th was Tuesday, and forgot to update my Firefox install. But, I just got it, and you guys ALL have to get it. www.mozilla.org/ is where to get it, and this IS NOT the preview release like what we have all been using already. Enjoy!

Spank you very much. I read about this on the news at work, and forgot about it. Time to dump the beta version.

just watch out if you run any extra extensions......a lot don't seem to work with release 1.0

Extensions, as in Java, and Flash?

Those will come, it was only released today. Make sure you have the lastest of both Java and Flash. I don't have a problem with Java, and I don't even have the lastest version. I've got the second to last release which came with Slackware v.10. I haven't been on my windoze box all week, so I haven't upgraded it there, either. So, if you are running windoze, it could just be something with it.

like themes and toolbars.........

the plugins for java and flash carry over......but stuff like this http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/ don't always work in v1.0

This extension adds an option to the bookmarks menu and/or the context menu for bookmark folders that enables you to add a bookmark to that folder. This feature is present in Opera where it is called "Add page here..." and I think it'* a very convenient way to keep the bookmarks sorted.

Compatible with versions from 0.9 up to 0.10
As you can see at the bottom, that is what will dictate if the plugin will work in the new version. If it doesn't say that, guess what? It isn't going to work .

i'm just saying that people that had certain extensions running in previous versions....might not work if they upgrade....
