Thought I'd stop in and say Hi
Well Bonneville Club folks... its been a while since I've visited this unforgettably fantastic board so I thought I would drop in and say Hello! We sold our 2000 SSEi last year in favor for a 2006 Envoy... I sure do miss that whine :( That car served us well but was starting to build up the miles so I hope the new owners enjoy it as much as we did.
But I also went to the darkside... and bought a 1998 BMW 740iL, this car absolutely cooks

I see that the usuals are still active.. Willwren, harofreak, gumball, and many others!
I've since migrated over to bimmerboard.com they have a very active forum for 7-series owners which is great considering the dealers ridiculous labor and parts pricing.
Anyways! Let me just say thanks to all of you who provided useful information and a great place to hang out and chat with fellow enthusiasts.

Thanks Guys!
Hey Robb, I bought the 740 from Garret Jones mom, I'm not sure if you know them, the car is a bit different from when they owned it, I had it fully repainted and did some other mods. I haven't seen your bonneville around lately.. do you still own it?

Ahh keepin it fresh and out of the salt... good thinking. I wish I still had my s10 for winter.. but the BMW is better in the snow anyways even with RWD... the weight and traction system helps out a lot. Speaking of summer, how bout that almost 50 degree weather yesterday! I even had the sunroof open!
