personally, I really don't care; Not to say that I would miss them and I know that it'* a lot that factors into this crisis. I feel now that only the best automakers should survive. For all I car Toyota can be the only auto maker left if they are able to survive what does that tell u? I am not a GM or any other Domestic car basher just let the best survive that'* all.
if they can pull out of this mess that'* great but no more freaking bailouts im so tiered of that word along with Stimulus I dislike those words very much.

It'* a crap shoot. Obama'* come down hard, but I wonder if the 60 day rhetoric will stick. Chrysler could fall and it would have a ripple effect on the economy in the US. But not global, now that it'* a US company again and most of the rest kept by Daimler. But GM is much bigger here in the US and a Huge global player. I dont think Governments would let it disappear. Worst case scenario would be straight up Bankruptcy and a even further downsizing. Which may be the best solution. It would end UAW contracts, force vendors to give bottom dollar prices for parts and make everyone reform wiith realistic costs, That scenario wouldn't be good for Pontiac though. Buick would stand a better chance of surviving if GM was allowed to keep a mid class unit. We may end up in the end with just Chevy and Caddy Divisions. In reality the future of it is a day to day affair and without a crystal ball everything at this point is speculation. It'* hard to conceive the hemorrhaging thats happening to it. I have been way to optimistic in my own hopes while they just cant seem to figure out what to do while Billions keep leaking out of a Corporation that has pretty empty pockets. Now I see the press release of a partnership with Segway for a two wheel vehicle. Dont GM executives see the doom here? They cant build a 4 wheel passenger car and sell it at a profit. And seem to blindly keep going on.
