I can't beleive we are being forced to use a higher ethanol blend. It cost more fuel to make ethanol than the energy it delivers. All ethanol does is drive up the cost of farm land and food:

If I only had a way to process 30-50 gallons at once.

Either way, this is complete BS. Is the government doing this on purpose to fatten the junkyards again with old non EPA compliant vehicles?

Half a city was burned down over night due to a home made gasoline processing gone bad in someones garage...rest of the story at 11. Back to you Guns!

This may be an attempt to remove old polluting cars off the road to meet the rising fuel economy standards. What good are new standards if a bunch of old cars are still running around?

It acts like it is being added as another option. Maybe they will give us the choice between E0 and E15?

Because seriously, I am getting pretty tired of this ethanol crap.

We have no choice here. There is only one station, nearly an hour drive from me, that offers 0%.
I have had to replace all the fuel lines in my LeSabre, all the lines, filter, pump, injectors, rail, etc.
The fuel pump in the Silverado is dying a long drawn out death until I can get the money to replace it. I drive it enough that it shouldn't have too much issue with the lines, but I'm gonna have to keep an eye on everything else.
Fortunately, the fuel system in the 87 is completely ripped out anyway, I'll just have to find a way to build it to cope. At least dealing with 87, I have a lot more control with tuning it to deal with the fuel. With the newer cars, I don't want to have to invest in tuners and all new parts just to deal with driving to work.

Same here, we really have no choice. If I can find ethanol free, I am THERE!

I always get ethanol free gas for my older GM cars. The GMC and the VW I'll put in E10, but I don't know if I'd go as far as E15.
