Did you guys ever see if your bank has one? My bank has one and they will turn coins to cash for free with their coin counter thing. I dont even know if you have to be a member at the bank...

No kidding... you have to heat 'em up, put 'em in a vise, and use a hammer or pair of pliers to warp them properly... takes quite a while.

Unless, of course, you meant they make you wrap the coins....

my bank actually has a change counter in the lobby that works like the coin star. It prints a slip that you take to the teller and they credit your account. No fee

yeah, my bank actually got mad at me once for counting them and wrapping them because they had to break them back open again

sooo yeah, coinstar = for dumb lazy people. yay.

i thought it was hilarious when i walked into the store a few years back with two five gallon buckets in change (obviously quarters right? ) had to be brought in on a hand cart....certainly not your normal trip to the coinstar machine. that thing....took me....gosh...i dont even remember, but i swear it drew a crowd after awhile like a REALLY good winning game in vegas just so people could watch the numbers go up i nearly killed my friend when he almost pressed the donate button what a dumbass.
