Turtle,
I don't think you should leave. From what I hear you have a WEALTH of information and experience with our engines. I would just prefer that you detailed some of it. For those of us trying to get the most out of our engines its frustrating and infuriating that someone would hold back information that may help us along the way. I'm not talking about details of everything you did or charts to back it up. I'm talking things like how did you get around tranny shortcomings, what about pcm restrictions, how about cam grind, injector sizes, cooling, anything that would help us.
I'm sure there are a ton of people with older Bonnies that would love to have some ideas on how to get power out of their cars. It'* a little bit easier with the newer models (other than pcm stuff) but not a lot is available for series 1 stuff. What good is a forum if someone overcomes problems and doesnt share them? When I do mods I try to post as much information about problems, fixes, and charts to help others evaluate mods and how to go about doing it. I think most members here do that. But to just constantly say i have a Bonnie that makes over 670 HP and not share anything about is, in my book, unfair.
I don't want to see you leave, I don't want to see Jeff leave, Hell I don't want to see anyone leave but people will make up their mind to do so and thats their choice.
Good luck to you if its your choice as well.

Guys, come on, we're losing two awesome members to a single disagreement...I really wish there was a way to settle this or just agree to disagree...
I hope I am not out of my place by saying all this....
You, too, will be missed...

For the record, Turtle has proven through verification to me personally every claim that has ever been spoken or inferred. I have to respect his privacy on the matter, so I do not share that proof, but do speak of it.
Turtle, I tried for too long to bring you back after the last fiasco. I would prefer you stay, and I can gaurantee you the respect that every member here deserves. Don't let the actions of one member change you. You are a valuable member of the team.

C'mon- don't leave us. Bill makes a great point of why you should stay. You can't please all the people all the time but don't listen to one person. You have a lot to contribute and that is what this site is all about.

I have it on good authority that Turtle (John) has agreed to stay. Stay tuned for some better evidence of what his beast really is.
Info coming to Performance and Brainstorming later tonight.
