Tempo Hit a Maxima Today <in conclusion>
Was going to my bank to dispute overdraft fees, when somebody turned in front of me. Thought she had the arrow . Tempo is not in the best shape right now, but may recover. Only concerned because the radiator support is bent some. She had to be towed will post pics and elaborate more later.
Had the tempo towed only because the fan was being stopped by the radiator, and i had 5 miles to go. no use burning up a motor.
:(

Damn, damn, damn!
Glad to hear you're OK. I hope like hell it'* fixable. Things wouldn't be the same around here without our resident Ford...
If you need JY parts, you know we can find anything you need.
Hate to ask, but did you get any pictures?

The top radiator support buckled, but could probably be fixed using damemorder'* patented mongolian tree method, but we noticed that the front wheels look toed out. That worries me because the front stabilizer bar bolts up to the bottom radiator support. if that was compromised, then impact was also transfered to the front suspension, which is one of those can of worm situations. Need to look at it when I get out of work. will keep everybody posted.
It sucks coming out to go to work in the morning, knowing your car wont be there :(

Looked it over saturday, found no damage to the lower radiator support to speak of, so here is the list:
New front bumper <got one on parts car>
New Front grille
Straighten out top radiator support.
New transmission cooler
New radiator
New cooling fan
New oil filter <the fan got jammed into it and bent it up a little>
New hood
and 2 new front tires <because i flatspotted the crap out of them >
Is still driveable, but i wont keep it in daily service at this time because the fan wont move on it, and may burn up the motor if i get into stop and go traffic. otherwise, i brought it out saturday and drove it around the neighborhood.
Looks like another insurance job, like a repeat of this:

Just got a call from their insurance company making sure I was doing okay, guessing they want to be sure they dont have to clean up any medical bills. I am doing fine, was sore that night, and a little achey the next morning, but nothing hot showers didnt fix. But now i got her insurance provider and policy number. Time for a rental car
