I wonder if that camera could do it. I was looking up the specs on it...I want one, but no way could I afford it.

Leaving the Tim Horton'* we had the lights and sirens running, man that was fun, BUT the sound travels for miles so you really have to be careful when using it. That siren reminded me of that video of train horns.
OH another thing he did was connect the car horn to the police horn, so when someone cuts him off, they hear it, and end up moving out of the way, lmfao.

Of course not. But he has done some installation work for them. he is supposed to finish off the setup with a light bar installed inside the car on the rear deck. It is purely for enjoyment and getting people out of the way, hehe.
I didn't have a chance to get a good video of the lights though.

I've thought about these
IMO, trains horns are a safer bet than the cop siren, because when you sound like a cop you will attract cops. People in the distance would be like "WTF, there are no tracks around here."

Those macro shots look great, especially since this is your first time using the camera.
With practice they will get even better.
You will find that that camera is really going to shine for landscape photography as well as telephoto shots. You have a HUGE optical zoom to your advantage.
Play with the manual settings to really get to know your camera. You will find yourself doing that more and more as time goes by.

OH BTW, Renée was NOT impressed at all that I got a new toy. I showed her tonight when I got back in town.
