Default mem reader

ok gang,
far for me to be an expert here......not far from it . but.......a memory card reader is good....dont get me wrong here. but if you have a good interface software then you dont need a card reader. i had a digicam and used the cd software and interface(serial) to extract the pics with the XP pro im using and it did work ok but the prog. did crash badly. so i did invested in a dual card reader, which is usb. but dont knock the docks,k. i have a buddy who uses the kodak docks with his kodak digi cam and works great.....even with XP. so if anyone has a problem with their dock.....feel free to email me or post their reply...will be gald to offer any answers to their views or questions.....and dont forget, Xp is usually backwards compatible!....take care all!!!
