Sorry to hear about the wreck...
Glad to hear that the most famous Ford Tempo in all of BC will live to ... do whatever it does. Maybe take out another import.

Your sad about it... At least Kinda... All I can think Oh My I used to pray someone would hit my 86 tempo... When someone did ( Happened exactally the same as yours did odd enough) I got my pickup and thought I was on top of the world . I agree with fixing it then keeping it ( or selling it and buying something else) , those tempos can hang on for dear life if you let them, which is always nice!

well, the radiator from the parts car fits fine, the angle is odd on the top mounting bolts, but should be fine. tranny cooler looks like it survived. it has damage, but is still useable. may leak, but this is only until i get another car. radiator support is really chewed up, but it all still fits. Any harder of a hit and the front end would have started folding up.
The tempo will live on

Well, she lives on! Got the radiator in from the parts car, which oddly enough after 10 years of setting, was still full of perfectly green coolant
So, no leaks as of yet. here is total cost:
coolant: $9.99 at autozone
tranny fluid: 1qt@$2.39
Tranny cooler mounting kit: $4.99
Knowing that you have a $875 check coming: Priceless
Still need to get the bumper moved over, but perhaps another time.

Just got the police report today. She got cited for due care collision and expired license. Report said it was a 1990 nissan btw. Only things I didnt like on the report is that it states she hit me, and my car was disabled from the impact . What can you do though

Just got a call from the insurance company, they are going to give me another $250 for the soreness and pain and suffering i went through I was like, okay. of course they will need to send me paperwork, etc, prolly waivers for future claim for this accident. this keeps getting better and better. Halfways tempted to buy a can of red spray paint, and paint a target on the front passanger door saying "hit me here". then when someone does hit me, just tell them to total the car.

Well, the final verdict is in.
I received:
$737 for damages
$60 for loss of use of vehicle while repairs are to be conducted <$20 a day x 3 days>
$250 settlement for pain and suffering
$77.66 reimbursement for the tow home
All I did to get it going again is just drop the radiator in from the parts car. it started leaking when i started using it, but some stop leak cured that right up . Since then she has been running strong as ever. Has been waking up a bit with the warmer weather. I also have to give props to GEICO. The whole process was easy and painless.
I hate to get rid of this car, it has been a real money maker
$525 to get the engine put in
$830 from when i got rearended back in '05
$1047 from this ordeal
I am now ahead $1352
Shame I will prolly trade it in on the next car :(
