Out of curiosity, why do you have full coverage on a Tempo??? Isn't that kinda expensive for what its worth?

On a side note, I would do exactly what you are planning on doing. When I got rear-ended in my STE the estimate came out to $1862, so of course I got a bumper, taillight, and center light from a junkyard and had the bumper painted for a grand total of $450 and put it on myself. Add up that savings and you will see I made out okay on that deal.

i just have liability, but his insurance should take care of it though. i was however thinking about putting uninsured motorists on it though. im just gonna put in a $50 tops tail light and pocket the rest. you can only notice the other damage if you are really looking for it.

Oh yeah, I forget MI is a no fault state so your own insurance pays for the car in a wreck no matter whos fault it is, your state is the way it SHOULD be where the person whos fault it was insurance pays for it...didn't think about that.

the only reason the dodge had more damage because F.O.R.D. stands for Factory Overhauled Rebuilt Dogde. The ford was overhauled and rebuilt lol

i thought about it actually, but it would cost too much. and honestly, how many bonnevilles can take on a ram at 7 miles an hour and come out looking this good?
