router help
i lost power for a lil bit and now when i have my computer and ps2 going though the router i cantget online but when i plug from the cable modem to the computer its fine. why? its a linksys cable/dsl router if that helps.

Yea, unplug everything, then turn on your cable box, then your router. The router is just 'dumb' and needs the numbers from your ISP. I have a wireless linksys router also, and sometimes it will just hang for no reason, until I shut everything down.

Yeah, routers can be touchy. I've had my share of trouble with my SMC. (Mostly trying to walk my ex-g/f through restting it over the phone).

i went to middle school in grand rapids i went to riversde middle school and i moved to coopersville went to coopersville high school for half my highschool years then allendale. now i live in the grand rapids area. if i would have stayed in grand rapids i would have gone to creston high school mostly because i lives a couple block from it.

I went to Forest Hills Central (unfortunately) and my ex-gf went to Northview. I lived there for about 5 yrs. Not much to do in that city, but I guess you get sick of anywhere if you stay there long enough.
