"Super Volcano"
Anyone else watch it on the Discovery Channel? Quite interesting if you ask me. I find this kind of Docu-Drama'* to be very intriguing....

I watched it last night. and to think some believe it could happen.
for those who missed it it takes place in Yellow stone park where they beleive
there is a giant volcano under ground just waiting to erupt.
and when it does it will trigger others. the eruptions will be ash like
mt st Helens which travels faster than lava. The eruptions will last for days if not weeks. pretty much taking out all of North America.
If it shows again its worth a watch.

I watched the first hour. I thought it was kinda slow. Granted, tho, they were trying to plug as much science into it as possible. But, after an hour, I decided that I like looking at the desperate housewives a lot more...

It was a good show. If you look at the mountains around yellowstone...there is a 39 mile break in the mountains were the last eruption pretty much "evaoprated" the mountains. Pretty seriou stuff. I know it wouldnt happen in our lifetime, but thats some scarry stuff.
