It just popped out.

Does the keyboard have to be replaced? I can't seem to get it to pop back on.

What type of computer is that?
My sister in law lost a key. The lappy was only about a month old.
She returned it to best buy who shipped it back to HP,got it back 3 weeks later, tehy wiped out her hard drive and didn't put it back together right.
Hope you have a better experience.

Theres a little plastic clip and a fine metal wire clip under the key I dont see in pic. If you dont have them, it wont go back together. I'm missing the cap lock key on my Inspiron. For the price of laptops. Live with it. It still works. Can I buy a vowel?
Sorry, Couldnt resist.

I'm missing a lft hand "alt" key and a "p" on my lattitude. I never use the "alt", but I wish I could have lost a key that I don't have to use my pinky on.

Just buy a new keyboard. They are usually easy enough to replace. The manual can usually be found online too.
Here they are on ebay and they are only $15-20 shipped.

When I get home tonight I'll see if i can find replacement instructions. FYI, don't go prying as usually there is a screw that holds it on somewhere.
Also, once you buy the new keyboard, you might be able to sell the old one for a couple bucks. I know there are people that buy them, remove the keys, and then sell individual keys on ebay.
