That would be a fun car to cruise around in, aside from the frequent trips to the gas station. Though if you can afford a car like that, gas is probably a drop in the bucket.

My mothers neighbour had a Ferrari, his maintenance bill for 8000 miles was £1854 (approx $2800) not including gas or tires. Worse still he had several envy factor vandalism attacks - he sold it after the last attack.

Maintenance on those cars is always a big downside. When you have to pull a car in where they greet you in a white lab coat and immediately ask for a major credit card.... itz not going to go cheaply, regardless of the problem. Our youngest daughter lives out in Cincy with a late model Audi. When the wife says it'* her on the phone and the car is acting up, I just go for the sedatives.
