Default stupid, STUPID Neons...question about vehicle storage

Don't look a gift car in the mouth, right? Well, I seem to be having a spot of trouble with that.

My father-in-law is sweet by offering us another Neon so we can save in gas money, except for this one comes with a catch: one of our trucks has to leave our property. Let'* see...1990 K1500, 1983 Silverado 3/4 ton, or Neon? Not a tough choice.

He'* agreed to compromise. We DO have the option to store one of the trucks off the property. Does anyone know about how much vehicle storage costs every month, and how to find a decent storage facility?

Being that it'* small.. a small indoor unit would work.

Don't leave much fuel in the tank.. unhook the battery....

ps..is the father in law breeding these things?

You'd only need a 10' x 15' storage unit. Around here a 10x15 costs about $50 a month. Do you have a friend or someone that would let you store it outdoors? Covered storage is pricey, and probably not necessary for a Neon.

Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of saving money on gas by spending more to store it? I'd opt to sell one...

Yay, I make no sense. We'll be storing a pickup truck. Sorry!

MyLittleBlackBird, driving a Neon over one of the trucks saves us around $75/week right now, and probably more. I'm working on figuring out if it'* actually worth it. We may not have a choice...

Here'* the issue...each vehicle has a specific purpose more fitted to it than another. Also, the roads SUCK around us in the winter, making 4 wheel drive a must.

Yes, at least once a month.
