My day sucked....
Yup, it sucked. I'm in shop class and I'm helping a fellow classmate rip some wood and I'm pulling the wood thru, well, my right hand slipped amd my index finger hit the rotating blade and took off a bit of the tip, Hurts like hell, I can't type good now. i would post a pic of my injury but it'* kinda nasty for me to look at.
Then i went to the nurse office and she proceeded to put hydrogen perixode om it which made me nauseous and extremeky dizzyu,
I got home and I had a headache and was very tired. I went to my bro'* house when I see a karge dog coming at me, his paws met my balls perfectly and I was in pain for a while.
Yup my day webt PERFECTLY

Man, sorry to hear that! I cut the tip of my finger off on a meat slicer a couple years ago. I know how you feel! Keep it clean, the pain should get better soon, but it will take a while to heal completely, depending on how much you lost...

Sorry to hear about your "perfect" Day. The healing part sux, because you have to tend to it like a newborn baby (make sure its clean, and change the bandage daily) and try not to bang or hit it on anything.
I almost lost a finger when I was working at a fastener manufacturer. I was a machine operator and my finger got stuck in the machine

I cut the tip of my thumb off with a hedge trimmer ( not enough to get to bone, but definately into the nerves) It wasn't pleasant. And of course I was on the job (landscaping) and my boos thinks he is a doctor, and put black salve on it. hehe I had to sit, almsot passed out. But I worked the rest of the day.
It will get better, give it time.
and next time be careful in wood shop
