If you read the article, they simply downgraded the threat as they expect small farts for some time, with the major eruption coming in days or weeks.

They'll raise the alert as the big one becomes imminent. The Magma is at a very shallow depth now, new vents in the dome, and all that jazz. The plug is breaking apart.

Yea, I read the article, just get confused by them sometimes. I dont like to think too much unless I have to. So you think a major eruption is still going to happen then?
