Discovery Channel American Chopper
Just wondering if anyone else watched the American Chopper episode of the Fire Bike. It aired here on Monday, 4/05.
I've tried to find a link that describes all the custom parts and massive team effort that went into manufacturing the bike but haven't had any luck yet. My favorite was the fire hydrant carb.
IMO, the neatest part about this episode was the fact no one argued. The dad didn't even have his usual rant over the mess in the shop. Everyone busted their butts to get it done on schedule, and the placement of the bolt from the WTC was very moving (for me), to say the least.
Here'* some pics if anyone'* interested.

I see every episode!! I've seen that one 5 or 6 times (both halves). You probably won't find a lot of info on the parts, as they are almost all custom. But if you check out www.orangecountychoppers.com they got some good pics, and they also "sell" some parts there (no prices, but you can see the frames and such) Also, http://dsc.discovery.com has an American Chopper forum (I joined, but didn't like the people) some pics, and wallpapers, one of which features the Fire Bike.

The firebike is awesome, and very touching. It was the episode that got me hooked on the show. My favorite bikes, tho, are Cody'* Old School Project, Commanche, POW Bike, and the Santa Bike. I can't wait til the die cast bikes finally hit the store shelves. They'll be my Pokemon "Gotta get 'em all"

Dont get to watch that often, when I do get a chance, I usually get the biggest kick outta the father/son battles. My father never misses an episode and agreed that the fire bike is going to be nearly impossible to improve on

Yep. The official name is "Staue of Liberty Bike". It'* monday'* episode (4/12)
On the OCC site, they have a rotating viewer of their bikes. Worth a look-see if you like their stuff.

I like the design on most of their bikes. The thing that really makes them stand out is the paint job that Justin does on em. The detail he puts into the bikes is unreal. For example the mural on the POW bike.
