All states that I travel, with personal smoky advisory:

WV 70 50-60 metro (only about 3 metro areas in the whole state)/ very tolerant
MD 65 50 - 55 metro/ tolerant
VA 65 50-55 metro / not very tolerant but not very present
KY 65-70 / don;t seem to care
NC Haul *** with the traffic / get out of their way
DC 55 rush hour - crawl / as long as you aren;t waving a gun you're cool

LOL a crawl is moving right along during rush hour. Rush hour what a joke ,in DC it is from 05:30 to 10:00 AM and from 02:30 to 7:00 PM.

Glad I work in Columbia, MD now and go against traffic both to and from work.

I did notice traffic is pretty light in Columbia. I was there for a week in April. Real nice area. Sorry I can't say much for Landover, Pretty scary at times. I did really enjoy Delaware however.

Not sure about here in Missouri... to be perfectly honest, I am not really sure. I've lived here two years now and I don't pay any attention to the speed limit

Yes.

In Michigan, the speed limits are only suggestions.
I guess since we have the BMW plant here in *.C.,would it be a "Motor State"???

Speed limits are pretty much a suggestion around here also.

75 on every highway and interstate just about.

But at 80 you get a ticket, and you are not going to appeal that in court either that your speedo is off.
