There'* some element of truth to most of those. Granted I live in a big city, but a lot of those still apply.

And for the record, Soda is acceptable, as is Coke, but Pop is what you got when you were bad in school.

apparently not everywhere, because when I grew up in a small town just south of Austin, it was all coke, even when we went into town
