I got a CD player with car adapter kit for my car, my license plate for my car (its a vanity plate that matches the ones on the other 2 Grand Prixs), an electronic tire pressure gauge, a new drivers side doorhandle for my car (mine was broke), $70 worth of gas cards (unfortunately $45 worth are from Speedway, and they have crappy 92 octane, but hey, its free gas, so I don't really care that much, but the other $25 is BP which is nice because they have decent gas). I also got another hard drive for my gaming computer because I have been complaining that I only have a few gigs free for a while, its only a 20 gig, but its better than nothing. I got a $10 gift certificate for the local movie theatre, and a $5 McDonalds gift certificate, and a shirt too. I also got a DVD but I have never heard of the movie before, it is called RPM, and my dad said he got it because it looked cool, but I guess I am going to have to watch it to see, and I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (for PC), and I got a game called Muscle Car 2 American Spirit. And my big present was a cell phone, and my parents are going to pay for the service for it all year (that is the present), but I never call anyone so it isn't really any big deal to me. My mom asked me over the summer if I wanted a cell phone, and she said she would pay for it, but I told her I would never use it because I seriously NEVER call anyone, but she got it anyways. But I guess it doesn't hurt to have it. Now that I have it, I might start using the phone more.
I was suprised after I got done with my presents though, because my parents always agree to not buy each other anything for Christmas. So all of us kids get done opening up our presents and my mom gives my dad a present, and he was all like "you know you aren't supposed to get me anything" and all that crap, and he opened it and it was some flashlight kit that had like 6 different flashlights in it. So he gets done with that and grabs a present (one of those little gift bags) and hands it to my mom, and she gives him the same you weren't supposed to get anything speech. And she digs through the bag and pulls out a Velvet box, opens it up and I was like , he got her this really big, nice looking diamond ring!!! Now I know why he has been saying he was short on cash lately!
I have a feeling my parents spent a few $$$ for Christmas this year.

Remember to always phone home and let your parents know where you are and who you are with.
I never cared much about this until I had children. Parents really do care.
Wife and I made the same promise not to buy each other gifts.....and all I got was a big empty stocking. :(
Kids made a pretty good haul though.
Bonne is up on jacks getting its overdue shelved gifts.
