Lino Lakes. i'm about 2 miles from either Shoreview, Centerville or Blaine though depending on whether i go north or south. i'm right at the border.

Right up the road from me here in Oakdale...

My alarm somehow became an hour ahead yesterday, nfc why, everything else was fine, nothing lost power, or indicated it did.

Works good enough for me. Better than losing what i was doing if the power goes off.

My old Dell with a P2 has a power settings option to tell it what to do if the power is disconnected. I can set it to remain off, turn itself on, or return to the last state; it will stay off if it was already off or turn on if it was on before the power was disrupted.
