This is fairly strange news. Can we meet in the middle so that I still don't do it right but then put on catalytic converters? Also, couldn't I reroute the oxygen sensors that are supposed to be behind each cat to go behind a single high-flow one? A bit of a "stretch!" (Please pardon the pun!)

I'm going to have a look around in some of the ricer shops to find very small catalytic converters. Would you happen to know, off-hand, what the flow rating on the stock ones is? They're only supposed to flow for 3 cylinders (1.5 liters) each, so any ricer catalytic converter that'* short enough should work.
