Atmosklear. You do need to know the source of the odor however. Fabreeze is just a cover-up. It does eliminate the odor. Here is the link, but Ace hardware stores carry it and I'm sure other places do also.

I use a thing called ozium. Its prolly the best thing ive ever useed and you have to use such a small amount so it last awhile. You can get it at autozone of wal-mart. Its in a little spray can type thing.

In my car I shampoo the carpet and all the mats. Then I close everything up and turn the heat on full blast and maximum setting for about 20 minutes. Not only does that quickly dry the carpet but the evaporated shampoo fumes go everywhere making it smell good. If you have cloth shampoo the seats too.
