It hurts me to read things like that, physically hurts me.
The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me. But it sounds like the mechanic is planning to use this guy to retire on haha. Because hes going to be getting a lot of business from a Sunflower with a Northstar V8 and the stock transmission. Especially if he moves that Mustang chip over to the Northstar.

Let him take that Sunflower and tuck that 3800 SC onto the 4T40-E which has a super hard time handling the 3100 it was sometimes attached to... And how many of these little transmissions failed behind the Quad 4.... And what motor does he even have to begin with? Its either a 2.3 Quad 4, or the 2200 Pushrod motor... Either way it has a 4T40-E...
And just look at what the 4T45-E has attached to it and how massively GM has it torque managed
Matt I think you know all about that one

Thats pretty funny I love talking to people like that, I always try to see how far they will go with their BS.
I once met a guy that said that Interco made him a custom set of 68" tall tires for his truck, and he paid only $2000 a piece for them!!! Then he tried telling me that he had them on a STOCK height, STOCK suspension 1/2 ton truck. I let his imagination run wild for about an hour before I told him that Interco does NOT even make a 68" tall tire, and even if they would custom make them for you they would cost a hell of a lot more then $2000 a piece..... not to mention that stock running gear on a 1/2 ton truck has a hard time holding up to a 37" tall tire, yet alone a 68" one. Then he told me that one of the head guys at the company was his uncle. I laughed at him and then he walked away... he was driving an early 90s POS cavalier
I know that if I had $8000 to dump on some tires, I wouldn't be driving around in a cavalier like that

My brother overheard two guys at the track ragging on me for having put a turbo-simulator on my car. This was back when I had my 95 SSEi. One of them was driving a Steeda-badged Festiva.
