300C=Winning the Vote?
Is it me or are there more new Chrysler 300s on the roads than new bonnys. It also seems to me that the 300Cs are leaving the lot faster and more frequent. Even with $5000 rebates on the bonnys I still see the same cars chillin besides the dusty GTOs. Whats up! Did Pontiac over price? I think GXPs should've ranged from $32-35,000 (closer to $32). SE/SLE are definitely overpriced for power package and interior. They need at least 240hp to evenly compete with competitors at price range. With 340hp and 390lbs of torque, the 300C is a monster on 18'*. Its looks are starting to grow on folks also. Thats dangerous because that was it'* only possible weak point. I admit it has grown on me. I'm trying to be strong and wait for 2005/2006 seasons to cast my final vote. This year though might be a notch in Chrysler'* belt.

A lot of non car people like the 300 because it is hyped and is supposed to be the "only" cool sedan out there I would only get the v8 model, the v6 packages seem a little weak and dont go with that grille to good.

I wasn't impressed either with the magazine pics and articles but when I saw one recently at the dealer loaded with all the options, I was impressed.
It looks much better in the flesh. Really cool gangsta car looks from the side with the short side windows....kind of a chopped top look.
Options galore almost put my Bonne to shame.....rain sensing wipers, California wood trim, DVD based directions system, rear backup sensors, stability system, auto leveling shocks, W rated tires, Chrome 18" wheels, standard power sunroof, Pearl paint schemes and that killer rear wheel drive 340 hp Hemi. Sweet. I almost fell for it. Price was the same as I paid for my car 4 years ago too. Only thing it didn't have was the HUD.
I really do think Chrysler is one up this year on the General.
Shame.

I think the Magnum is cool, too. When I first saw it I knew they were aiming at the middle aged dad who needs something to haul the kids around but still wants a hot rod. What a bad time for Chrysler to be coming out with all of these new V8 powered cars, though.

I have yet to see even one advertisement mention the two V6 options for the car. People see the starting price and no mention of a V6, then get startled at the dealership when they see the extra dough they gotta drop to get the hemi.
