I was reading a review somewhere, and yes I heard they were going to be throwing a manual in w/ a beefier engine. I really want to consider one of these when I start my career and family, which will happen around 2011. It'* a car that I can pass off to the GF as a family sedan, and just not let her drive it to see what it REALLY is

I went to the dealor near my work and got a brosure
I went home and was looking at it and my son asked what the book was and I told him "I was dreaming" and now when he sees it he calls it the "dream book"
But anyway, I asked when they where gonna start getting them in and he said probably late spring. Then he told me it was gonna be really hard to get an 08 because they just get to pick a couple out of what ever they have left. If I want a specific model or color/option I whould have to order one and it would probably be a 09 model by the time they got built and over here.
I just gotta figure a way of affording a car that costs more than I get paid(gross) a year.
And my wife says she wants a house/land before any new cars. "Women" LOL

I went to the Edmonton motor show the other day and saw the G8 GT in red.
That car definitely gets people'* attention.
Although you say you're dreaming, the G8 is the way to go.

If I could start working 45-50 I might be able to start saving for a down payment. I guess it could be a possiblity of a late '09/early '10 and then it might be a GXP

Good luck with getting more hours though, it sure is a good aspiration(for all of us).
If I wasn't 17, I'd be doing all I could to get that car

I'm going to sit back with a grin on my face and watch everyone else buy up their G8s with autos and after I graduate from UTI and get on my feet, I'll go buy my 6-speed .
