Shortage of Dextron VI at Wally World
I have been converting m vehicles from Dextron III to DEXTRON VI, and have been reflushing them a few months later- as I hope the Dextron VI will best prevent transmission work.
Wal Mart sells DEXTRON VI for 3.77 a quart. AutoZone and Advance Auto sell their generic Dextron VI at 5.99 a quart, name brand at 6.99 a quart. Substantial savings can be had at Wally World as a minimum of eight quarts is required per flush, and this is performed twice per vehicle.
The problem, Wally World is unable to keep Dextron VI in stock. They have plenty of all the other flavors. I have been to three Wal Marts that are a distance apart and the problem seems to be the same, the shelf is bare of Dextron VI, I usually can only find a few quarts....
