Man, I really feel bad for the owner of this car.
Such a shame that this happened to a 3800.
Surprised this car isn't white.
Not really sure how it happened, but I am sure it would have been a sight to see. Just happened to see this in the WalMart parking lot. Glad the wife had the camera with her.

if thats a 98... didn't they have a recall with something with the FPR?
or was that just on Bonnies?

That wasn't always a fuel fire either.. We have seen a series of those in the Yard and it seems at times that the fire may have started in the Electrical Box
That sure sucks tho..

Not sure what a FPR is.
i am assuming it had to be something electrical.
Just kinda weird it was in a parking lot. I guess it would have been when they started it?

Well, the driver'* side window was shattered, but as far as I could tell the interior looked fine.
Didn't want to look tooo much, wasn't sure if the owner was around.

Odds are that the firefighters popped the window, just to make sure nobody was inside. Engine fires tend to fill up the interior with smoke. They may also have thought the fire was spreading into the dash, so they hosed down the interior.
