My fave pic of Ethyn is when he has the pacifier in his mouth and he is pointing at the camera, sporting a football jersey...and the one in Petes car.. :

Yeah, the first experience'* are definitely worth recording. And BOSE, listening to Shinedown -nice choice.
Too bad no-one got pics of the little guy handing over the keys to dads car. or when he was trying to sit in the newspaper rack, or scooting down the stairs. He definitely provided some good laughs and memories in Toronto. One good natured fella.
Just today I took my niece Cecelia (15 months old) out in the back yard to play ball with our family'* Golden Retriever -you should have seen the look on her face when the 'Goldie' barked at her for holding the tennis ball too long. Her jaw dropped like a sledgehammer and her eyes dang near popped out, but she didn't back up -instead she picked the 2nd ball up from by her foot and held them about 6 inches away from Goldie'* nose (Goldie at the end of the rope) until I could run the 15 feet from Goldie'* pen and scold Cecelia, which kinda hard considering she was taunting Goldie on purpose (not too smart when you're that size). Later my dad called my mom'* cell phone and Cecelia wanted to talk to "Baaapa" and all she said when she held the backside of the phone up to her ear was "blablablabla -OHSH*Tblablabla OHSH*T!!!". Not actual words, just that'* what her baby-talk sounded like, and she knew when to emphasize what she was saying.
Boy, is that kid lucky (and cute). When I was his age the only vehicle I could sit behind the wheel in was a 1978 Dodge B1500 Maxiwagon with a 400cid V8 that back-fired (without failing) when we got 1.5 blocks from home.
